“I film quite a bit of footage, then edit. Changes before your eyes, things you can do and things you can’t. My attitude is always let it keep rolling.”
Happy 75th birthday to Terrence Malick, one of the big screen’s most astounding and adventurous visual poets!
REPLACEFACE
Based out of the UK, artist Steve Payne is the brainchild behind the project entitled REPLACEFACE. Payne takes digital copies of the works of English painter George Dawe (get your Art History learn on if you don’t know who that is!) to literally swap the heads of the original subjects with the heads of contemporary celebrities.

Happy Birthday Leonidas Frank “Lon” Chaney (April 1, 1883 – August 26, 1930)
beautyandterrordance:“I wanted to remind people that the lowest types of humanity may have within them the capacity for supreme self-sacrifice. The dwarfed, misshapen beggar of the streets may have the noblest ideals. Most of my roles since The Hunchback of Notre Dame, such as The Phantom of the Opera, He Who Gets Slapped, The Unholy Three, etc., have carried the theme of self-sacrifice or renunciation. These are the stories which I wish to do.” - Lon Chaney
Happy birthday - (April 1rst, 1883 - August 26th, 1930)
